Pomegranate and Hamsa Jewelry
Jewish jewelry for women comes in many traditional forms. Two of my particular favorites are the Pomegranate and the Hamsa.
Pomegranates are believed to be a symbol of good fortune. Perhaps their abundance of seeds and richness of fruit leads us to associate them with prosperity, fertility, abundance and hope. The Pomegranate Hamsa Pendant is a meaningful design, maybe even a magical design, combining two historically important symbols that are believed to have the potential to protect you and aid you and bring you good fortune.
The hand shape, called the “hamsa,” has long been found in the art of both Muslims and Jews in the Middle East, and may even have been used as a protective symbol by earlier, ancient peoples. It is thought that wearing this amulet can help ward off misfortune or “ayin hara,” the evil eye. According to these beliefs, wearing the hamsa may in fact bring you happiness and health, good luck and good fortune. I hope that my Pomegranate and Hamsa pendants, and all of my metal jewelry designs, bring beauty to your outfit, and protection, good fortune, and all the very best to your world.

Melanie Dankowicz & Tamara Halle
Yotzer chayim, Creator of all life, it is with profound wisdom that you created "Name". We are grateful to you for bringing "Name" to our community/family. We give thanks for the years of their life, and for the wisdom and holiness that they bring to those around them.
Yehi ratzon, may it be your will, Compassionate God, to grant "Name" a year of goodness and health; of peace and blessing; of learning and growth; a year that brings what "Name" needs. May they always be surrounded by love and support and friendship. And may they find enduring contentment and delight in all that they have and in all that they do.
